The colors are diverse, the shapes are many and the flavors innumerable. Sri Lankans affinity to sweets had made this industry not only a significant place in the FMCG market but also lays claim to a whopping 1.5 billion rupees a month spent on carbonated beverages.
From generation to generation each carries forth its own memories of celebration all involving in some form of carbonated drink.
Reliance Beverages PVT LTD
Reliance Beverages Private Limited is a totally Sri Lankan Company whose primary investment has been on quality manufacturing facility with an on premises superb quality water source. From day one a fully automated plant, a state of the art PET blowing machine churns out completely blown bottles hour after hour totaling 120,000 bottles per day.
A 25 thousand Liter tank houses pre pumped water. Before flouring this water is filtered through sand, active carbon, micron and finally through a UV filter. Flavor concentrated imported from Europe are premixed as per the Cool recipes and transferred into Stainless Steel holding tanks. Water and sugar syrup from other SS holding tanks are pumped into the automated mixing unit. The bottles ready for filling travels via an air conveyer and washed by purified water; it is then filled and the closure (bottle cap) applied.
The bottles are then inspected, the sugar and Co2 are checked and electronically date coded. The labeled bottles and filled bottles in 9, 12 and 24 packs are then sent through a shrinking tunnel, the final step before delivery for sales point.
