Edna Launches RED COLLECTION
We are proud to unveil our new Brand to further strengthen the Edna Range – ‘‘EDNA RED COLLECTION’’.
The ‘’EDNA RED COLLECTION’’ will definitely add value to the Edna chocolate range. We are in no doubt that this new product; which is targeted towards the ‘youth’ will help Edna to further strengthen its position in the mainstream chocolate category.
The color Red emphasizes Passion, Strength, Love, Joy, and most importantly Fun; the embodiment of ‘‘youth’’.
The youth segment in Sri Lanka is a growing market; with high spending capacity and the willingness to try new things. The ‘’EDNA RED COLLECTION’’ was developed with the youth in mind. Its Creaminess, Aroma, Packaging and Price were specially tested with the youth for their feedback and recommendations.
The ‘’EDNA RED COLLECTION’’ will be launched with 7 flavors in the larger sizes Milk, Orange, Strawberry, Coffee, Peanut, Fruit & Nut, Rum & Raisin and in 4 flavors; Milk, Orange, Strawberry, Coffee, in the smaller sizes.
During a soft launch at the 2015 Profood and Packaging Exhibition held in August, the RED COLLECTION received much positive feedback; with many commenting on the taste and the packaging.
This new product will be supported by a comprehensive campaign with Above the Line and Point of Sale to engage with consumers.
