Edna Chocolates (Ceylon) Ltd., was awarded the "Arch of Europe" for excellence in corporate image and quality on 6th March 2000 at a gala dinner held at the Concorde Convention Hall in Paris, France.

This award, given by the Business Initiative Directions (BDI) of Europe was received by Mr. B. R. S. T. Edirisinghe, Chairman, Edna Group from Mr. Jose E. Prieto, President of BDI.
